** Based on electricity consumption only.^^ 7% discount made up of £40 yearly per fuel if paid by Direct Debit plus £6 yearly per fuel for paperless billing. Effective from 15 October 2012. If you are billed prior to 15 October, you will have the previous monthly  Direct Debit discount calculated at 6% and 1% paperless billing. 

† iplan is the first product in the UK that offers a fully integrated end-to-end customer engagement product that takes your electricity usage data,
through the sensor, to the display through to the iplan account.

The payment method available for iplan is quarterly billing or fixed monthly Direct Debit only.

An online iplan account and paperless billing are required.

Available to dual fuel or electricity only properties (General Domestic Standing Charge) customers. This product is not available for some tariff/meter types.
This product is available for domestic supplies only, with availability in the UK only excluding Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.

iplan is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 commonly known as "Tiger".

If you are not currently an SSE customer and successfully apply for a Dual Fuel Plan you will receive 3,750 Ice points.
If you are not currently an SSE customer and successfully apply for an Electricity Plan you will receive 2,250 Ice points.
If you are an existing SSE customer and successfully apply for a Duel Fuel Plan you will receive 750 Ice points.

Ice is a new, flexible customer loyalty program.

Ice is a new consumer loyalty programme that identifies companies offering sustainable “best in class” products and services. Ice presents its retail partners  through myice.com and on any retail purchase you make through Ice, you can collect and spend Ice points.  Your Ice can be combined with cash to get money off or get your purchase FREE.  Ice partners offer different ways to purchase their products and services – online, over the telephone and in-store with an Ice card. 

If you want to shop online or over the telephone you need to join Ice before you can start collecting. Online registration is FREE, quick and easy, just complete the short registration form.

The number of Ice points you collect will differ by partner, so please check as you shop.  When you have completed your purchase the retail partner will confirm the transaction to us. Your Ice points will appear in your pending account if there is a returns period for that partner, otherwise it will be available in your Ice account to spend immediately.

You can spend as little or as much as you like and unlike other loyalty programmes there are no thresholds, you don't need to save your Ice- as soon as it appears in your Ice account, you can spend it.
