What is Ice?
Ice is a new consumer reward programme that identifies companies offering sustainable “best in class” products and services. Ice presents its partners to you through www.myice.com. On any purchase you make through Ice, you can collect and spend Ice points. Your Ice can be combined with cash to get a discount or pay on full. Ice partners offer different ways to purchase their products and services – online or over the telephone, with other options coming soon.
About Ice
The inspiration behind Ice came from a NASA image of the shrinking ice cap. By changing small things we do every day we can minimise our impact on the environment and help preserve the ice caps.
Ice aims to help slow the shrinking of the ice caps by mobilising mass consumer purchase power to help address climate change, the greatest environmental challenge facing the world today. Ice allows you to make financial savings while choosing sustainable products.
Ice can minimise environmental damage by changing the way people consume products and services. It provides the opportunity for you to buy sustainable alternatives to everything fromlocal and seasonal food to enticing gifts and treats. By changing the small things we all do, together we can make a huge difference.
How it works
You can collect and spend Ice points with any Ice partner. Products and services range from enticing gifts and treats to local, seasonal food from your local farm shop or box delivery scheme . To make things easier for you we have developed a variety of shopping methods so that you can shop online or over the telephone. Simply follow the instructions on the page with the pop-up window and see how to collect and spend your Ice.
If you want to shop online or over the telephone you need to join Ice before you can start collecting. You can quickly register online by completing a short form.
The number of Ice points you collect will differ by partner, so please check as you shop. When you have completed your purchase the retail partner will confirm the transaction to us. Your Ice points will appear in your pending account if there is a returns period for that partner, otherwise it will be available in your Ice account to spend immediately.
When Ice points are available to spend in your Ice account, you can spend as little or as much as you like. You can mix your Ice points with cash or card payment to get a discount, or pay in full. Unlike other reward programmes there are no thresholds. You don’t need to save your Ice – as soon as it appears in your “Ice you can spend now” total, you can spend it.
